Hey everyone, I'm pretty new to the whitewater world, this is my 3rd year. I have been to Stinson a few times in the past few weeks, and I messed around at the rapid by the rail bridge on the vermilion on hwy 55 in the spring. I have been reading some posts about "cats ass" , "pump house" etc. I am wondering if some one would be able to fill me in on what's running good this time of year and how to get into these places. Oh ya I have also paddled oulette rapid on the French as well. But any other info would be awesome. Thanks Pat.

Right now its just Stinson and the French (Oullette Rapids) running. The French is getting pretty low right now. Stinson might still be a bit high, its need to drop a bit (the hole is at the top) Cats Ass is a trek to get to but worth it...might need a guide how to get there the first time, Grannie G's is where Panache turns back into the Vermillion right below the bridge on Panache Lake Rd. Both spring runs.
The Aux Sable and Temagami are runable right now but low II-III, they are usually pumping in the spring. Burshwash is a quick creeky spring just off the North part of the Wannipetea river.
