Hi. I'm new here. I am going to be in Sudbury for about a month for school and I'm trying to find out what paddling there is in the area. Anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!

Everything is running or will be running again after tomorrow For play right now there is Stinson and Cats Ass. Stinson is park and play Cats Ass is a hike to get to but a much better wave. The water needs to come up a bit.
For River Running there is the Aux Sable, Temagami and Burwash all will be high.
Check the board, almost everyone post if they are going.
There are only 5 people that boat in Sudbury (sometime 7 if Gerry and Rob come out of retirement)

The hole at Stinson should come in when the water drops a bit more. Its located about 1km below the dam at Lake Wanapitei. Very safe and friendly place to learn. Water is still fairly cold if you are swimming alot. You can drive into the snowmobile bridge.
