Do we really want hords of people clogging up our rivers? I say locals only...local as being people local to northern Ontario.

Hey Kev,
I don't really see the Sauble getting that busy when there is the Ottawa that close. I wouldn't mind seeing the river having more use to it. Would be great to have this town see the potential that this river and the spanish could have for tourist dollars!

Yeah, and we just don't show anybody where our golden play spots are. It would hilarious to have some southies come up and envy the great white north.

Gerry and I were talking today. We think that we can get Neil Young to show.........., if not Gerry knows a few notes.
Anyhow, whatever happens should be great. At least the bunch of us paddlers and anybody alright should make a show and get together for sure.
I have a request though. We're available on these dates
April 4-6 11-13 25-27
May 9-11 23-25th
Try to keep these dates in mind for when we finally round it up for this year. We would probably have higher levels the earlier we go, but Scott is still in school. I favor the 25-27th of April.

Yeah that sounds like a good weekend for me. I can't imagine school going that late. It might even work that I can time the trip back up north with a pit-stop at the first annual aux sables fest. So how is this thing going to pan out? Bring lots of booze, drugs, rock and roll and a tent?

What about May 9th/10th? That weekend works better for us and should be warmer. I'm still in for the 27th if its everyone else's preference. If you need some warm-up time, Rob's hole at the French is at a good level, furthermore, i think Joe is would tolerate some Slagburians his way. Unless it is ridiculous as far as the weather, i think if there is still interest in getting us together to paddle, bonfires and a good time, that date works for me.

Kevin, good point smart ass. Fuck though, the last time I swam in the Aux Sables, maybe I will just swim again this year.
Andrew, either weekend works for me. I can time it so that I am driving north or driving south. This thing has still gotta go on.
